PLA works fine for static adapters. The loads are minimal. PETG is more durable if you plan to swap adapters frequently. Avoid flexible filaments; they will introduce slop in the mount fit.

3D-printed lens adapters are not a replacement for high-end electronic adapters with autofocus. But for manual vintage lenses, they are a cheap and practical solution. If you already own a 3D printer, the cost per adapter is effectively zero. That makes exploring old glass a low-risk experiment.
