Anycubic's big software update syncs settings across the slicer, mobile app, and printer firmware so you stop repeating the same setup.
Anycubic released Software 2.0 on September 11, 2026, and the headline feature is simple: your printer settings should follow you across every interface.
One setting, everywhere
Before this update, enabling AI Detection or Smart Assist on your Anycubic printer meant walking to the machine. The mobile app could not toggle those features. Software 2.0 changes that. You can now turn AI Detection, Smart Assist, and Equipment Calibration on or off directly from the app or slicer. The printer no longer sits on an island.
Better file management
The slicer now includes file search and full print history. Previously, print history lived only in the mobile app. If you sliced five versions of a model and forgot which one actually worked, you can now pull that history inside the slicer and reprint with the same settings. Cloud files also sync between the app and printer, so you do not need to download a model to your computer just to start a print.
Filament settings that travel
Third-party filament support gets a real upgrade here. Anycubic expanded its material library to include generic and custom filaments, and filament settings now sync across the slicer, app, and printer firmware. Set up a new spool once, and the temperature profile, color, and other parameters carry to every device.
Smaller frictions matter
The printer firmware also got a visual refresh. Larger touch targets, clearer feature descriptions for Smart Assist, and the current time displayed in the top-right corner are minor additions, but they reduce the daily friction of managing a print. Anycubic says the update rolls out now across supported printers.
