Axtra3D hires Marion Timmermans to lead EMEA commercial growth as Hi-Speed SLA adoption expands globally.
Axtra3D has appointed Marion Timmermans as Vice President of Revenue and Growth for EMEA and the rest of the world. Based in Eindhoven, she takes on the role as the company pushes to broaden its reseller network and grow adoption of its Hi-Speed SLA systems.
Timmermans joins from AM-Flow, where she served as Commercial Director. Her background spans sales, biotechnology, additive manufacturing, and engineering. That mix of business and technical experience fits what Axtra3D says it needs right now: someone who can explain the company's Hybrid PhotoSynthesis and TruLayer technology to potential customers while closing deals across international markets.
Greg Wilkman stays on to lead Axtra3D's North American operations, acting as Timmermans' counterpart in the region. CEO Gianni Zitelli said her arrival strengthens the commercial organization as the company scales across Europe and other key markets.
Axtra3D's flagship Lumia X1 combines a laser and DLP light source with a proprietary layer separation process. The company claims this delivers twenty times the throughput of conventional SLA while keeping part accuracy and surface finish intact. Those specs have drawn attention from manufacturers looking for high-volume resin production without the traditional tradeoffs.
The appointment comes amid broader expansion for Axtra3D, which has been pushing its Hi-Speed SLA platform into automotive, medical, and consumer goods applications. Timmermans takes the helm at a moment when resin-based additive manufacturing is gaining ground as a production tool rather than just a prototyping method.
