One year after launching its Trust Center, Bambu Lab says its bug bounty program has paid out up to $52,000 per report and earned new global security certifications.

Bambu Lab is marking one year since it launched its Trust Center by pointing to a growing bug bounty program, a public security update log, and three maintained international certifications.

The company says it has worked with more than 100 security researchers since the program expanded. Single payouts have reached $52,000. Those reports go directly to Bambu's engineering teams and feed into product changes.

The Trust Center itself launched in October 2025 as a response to earlier community concerns about how the company handled user data and device connectivity. It bundles a 38-page Security White Paper with documentation on privacy features, third-party integrations, and the bug bounty process.

Alongside the bug bounty updates, Bambu Lab continues to hold ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, and TRUSTe Enterprise Privacy certifications. It also added a public Security Update page this year, where the company discloses specific patches and their timing.

The blog post frames transparency as the core goal. Rather than asking users to trust the company without evidence, Bambu Lab says it wants to show what has been fixed and when. Whether that actually changes user behavior remains to be seen, but the move does give the company something concrete to point at when questions arise.

For owners of Bambu printers, the practical takeaway is that the company now has a formal, paid path for outside researchers to report vulnerabilities. If you have ever wanted to test your own printer for security issues, the bug bounty page outlines the proper channel.
