BigTreeTech now sells an 8-in-1 air quality monitor, RGB light bars, and a new Hub PX2, all built around Bambu Lab printers.

A Sensor for the Air Around Your Printer

The Panda Sense Pro is the headline act. It is an 8-in-1 air quality module that tracks temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, CO2, formaldehyde, TVOC, and AQI in a single compact unit. If you run printers in a spare room, a garage, or a small farm, that is the full list of things you probably worry about and never actually measure.

It sells for $89.99 and connects to Home Assistant and Klipper out of the box, so the readings can feed straight into automations. Fan kicks on when CO2 climbs. Window reminder when formaldehyde creeps up. That kind of integration is why this product exists at all: Bambu printers already push status data over the network, and BigTreeTech wants to be the layer that makes sense of it.

Light, Hub, and a Growing Family

Alongside the Sense Pro, BigTreeTech has been refreshing the rest of the Panda range. The Panda Lux RGB is a light bar made for the Bambu P1 and X1 series that pairs bright white LEDs for camera visibility with RGB strips that mirror printer status. It uses an ESP32 for control, mounts magnetically, and talks to both the stock screen and a companion app.

The Panda Hub PX2 is the quieter update. The original Panda Hub added USB connectivity and accessory control to Bambu machines, and the PX2 revision keeps that role in the lineup. Documentation for the whole family, including the new Lux RGB PX2 and Sense Pro entries, appeared in BigTreeTech's wiki this week, which is usually the signal that retail stock is either here or close.

Why This Matters

Bambu Lab sells a lot of printers. It does not sell much in the way of aftermarket accessories, and that gap has turned into a real business for third parties. BigTreeTech has been the most aggressive player in that space: Panda Touch screens, Panda Revo hotends, the Lux lights, and now environmental monitoring.

The bet is simple. Bambu owners spent real money on a closed ecosystem, and they will spend a bit more to open it up. A $90 sensor that plugs into Home Assistant is exactly the kind of purchase that group makes without much hesitation.

Availability

The Panda Sense Pro is available now through BigTreeTech's BIQU store and resellers including 3DJake, priced at $89.99 in the US and 89.99 euros in Europe. The Lux RGB and Hub PX2 are rolling out through the same channels. If you already run a Bambu machine and care about what is actually in the air it prints in, the Sense Pro is the one to watch.
