Creality new Halot-X1 Neo prints at 18 µm XY resolution for $239. No air filter, no bundled camera, but the detail output is impressive at that price.
9K resolution at a $239 price point
Creality has launched the Halot-X1 Neo, a resin 3D printer that prints at 8,520 by 4,320 pixels. That is a 9K-class display delivering an XY resolution of 18 micrometers. For anyone who needs fine detail on small parts, those numbers matter. Layer heights range from 0.01 mm to 0.2 mm. Print speeds reach up to 60 mm/h.
The build volume measures 156.36 by 77.76 by 160 mm. That is typical for a compact resin printer. The machine itself measures 235.5 by 230 by 395.5 mm, so it fits on a standard desk. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi and USB.
What you get and what you do not
The $239 price includes the printer and basic accessories. It does not include built-in air filtration. The AI monitoring camera must be purchased separately. Creality does include its AI-powered model generation feature, which lets users create printable 3D models directly from the software.
The EU launch is planned for early October. At that price, the Halot-X1 Neo undercuts most 9K resin printers on the market. Competing models typically cost significantly more for similar resolution.
Who this printer is for
This is a beginner-friendly machine with professional-level detail output. The compact build volume limits it to smaller parts: jewelry, miniatures, dental models, and detailed prototypes. If you need large parts, look elsewhere. If you need sharp detail at low cost, the Halot-X1 Neo is worth watching.
