HeyGears' G1X desktop full-color 3D and UV printer has raised over $15 million on Kickstarter, with backers getting $500+ cashback before the campaign ends.

One machine, three creative workflows

HeyGears launched its G1X Series as the world's first desktop full-color 3D printer that also handles UV printing. The Kickstarter has now passed $15 million, far beyond the original goal. That level of backing suggests creators see real value in combining three workflows into one box.

The G1X line comes in three versions. The UV edition focuses on 2D UV and 3D texture printing. The Fabric Print edition adds True DTF and DTG apparel printing with a water-based ink system. The Full-Color 3D version pairs full-color 3D printing with UV capabilities and throws in UV supplies as a crowdfunding bonus.

Pricing and backer perks

Super Early Bird pricing cuts up to $1,700 off MSRP. On top of that, HeyGears is offering $500 or more in cashback to eligible backers for a limited time. Stretch goals past $10 million and $15 million have unlocked additional rewards for everyone who backed the project.

The Kickstarter campaign is entering its final days, so anyone interested needs to move fast. With so many new desktop multimaterial printers arriving in 2026, the G1X is betting that bundling full-color 3D, UV, and fabric printing will win over small studios and serious hobbyists who would otherwise need three separate machines.
