Hi3D's V3.0 update pushes AI-generated 3D models to 2048³ voxels and 8K textures, with a 48-hour free trial starting August 19.
The update targets the spots where AI 3D models usually lose detail before they reach a slicer
Hi3D has launched V3.0 of its AI 3D model generator, raising the core resolution from 1536³ to 2048³ voxels. That is a 2.37x increase in voxel count, and it matters most for thin walls, shallow engraving, and sharp edges where older versions blended neighboring detail.
The company also raised maximum texture output to 8K and rewrote the UV completion algorithm. Pattern edges should be cleaner, color transitions smoother, and fine ornamentation should hold up under magnification. Those changes address the two places where AI-generated models typically need manual cleanup before printing or rendering.
V3.0 keeps the production-focused tools from earlier releases: Split for 3D Printing, Multicolor 3D Printing, and Auto-Plating. Those features take a generated mesh and prepare it for actual fabrication without opening a separate CAD tool.
To mark the launch, Hi3D is opening V3.0 for free access from 00:00 UTC on August 19 through 24:00 UTC on August 20. Annual plans are 70% off during the same window. If you have been waiting to test AI-generated models for print-ready workflows, this is the lowest-friction way to try it.
