Elegoo expanded its Nexprint platform with three AI-powered model generators that turn text, photos, and simple parameters into printable 3D files.
Elegoo has added three new generators to Nexprint, its free 3D model hub, giving creators more ways to go from idea to printable file without opening CAD.
The first is a combined Text & Image-to-3D Generator. Type a prompt or drop in a photo, and the tool produces a mesh you can download and print. The second is a Vase Generator that turns images or patterns into parametric vases. The third is a Nameplate Generator for custom text and desk tags.
All three launch alongside Elegoo Day 2026, which runs through September 29. The event also includes an expanded $1 million Creator Fund and a Make It Real Challenge with prizes up to $300 in coupons plus flagship printers.
The timing matters. Elegoo is trying to move beyond selling printers into owning the content pipeline around them. Nexprint already hosts a library of community models. The new generators let beginners contribute to that library without learning Blender or Fusion 360.
That removes the blank-page problem that stops most people from creating. A photo of a pet, a handwritten note, or a rough sketch can become a printable model in minutes.
The Make It Real Challenge runs from September 10 through October 30, with winners announced November 20. There is no fixed theme, so contestants can print whatever they want. Entries made through social media also enter a separate sweepstakes for Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and Centauri Carbon 2 Combo printers.
Elegoo is bundling a hardware sale with the software push: discounts of up to 54% on three printers through September 29. The message is clear: buy the machine, use the new tools to make something, and upload it to Nexprint. The cycle keeps creators inside the Elegoo ecosystem instead of drifting toward Thingiverse or Printables.
The broader market is moving this way anyway. AI mesh generation has improved enough that casual users can get printable results without manual cleanup. Elegoo is not the first brand to offer it, but bundling it with a $1 million creator fund and a major printer sale gives the company a distribution advantage smaller platforms cannot match.
For makers, the practical impact is simple. If you have ever wanted to print a custom vase, a nameplate for your desk, or a figurine based on a photo, Nexprint now has dedicated tools for those exact use cases. No subscription is required to use the generators or download models.
