Prusa and Noctua's new PETG Prusament targets PC modders who want parts that match their cooling systems.
Prusa Research and Noctua have released a new line of Prusament PETG filaments in the cooling company's signature beige and brown colorways. The filaments are aimed at PC modders and case builders who want 3D-printed parts that match their Noctua hardware.
PETG was the natural choice for the collaboration. It offers better heat resistance and toughness than PLA, making it suitable for custom PC brackets, fan shrouds, and radiator covers that see temperature swings inside a case. The new Prusament PETG spools use the exact beige and brown shades Noctua uses on its fans and coolers, so printed parts blend in rather than sticking out.
Noctua previously released PLA in the same colors, but PLA softens above about 60°C. PETG stays dimensionally stable well beyond that, which matters for anything near a CPU cooler or GPU backplate. The material also resists warping during long prints, an important trait for the larger case panels many builders produce.
Prusa sells the PETG through its regular filament store. Noctua fans have already started using it to print custom dust filters and fan mounts.
