PharmaTher is evaluating CraftHealth's GMP-ready 3D printing platform to produce patient-specific peptide doses at pharmacy scale.

PharmaTher Holdings has signed a collaboration with Singapore-based Craft Health to test whether a GMP-ready 3D printing platform can produce personalized peptide medicines at the pharmacy level.

The partnership centers on CraftHealth's CraftMake system, a semi-solid extrusion printer that operates at room temperature without heat or UV curing. That approach matters for peptides, which can degrade under the conditions other pharmaceutical printing processes use. The GMP version of the platform adds an enclosed print environment and dual printheads for simultaneous two-material printing.

Under the agreement, the companies will test multiple peptide formulations. The initial candidate list includes BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-c, Epitalon, and Semax. The work covers single-peptide products, combination therapies, precision dosing, multi-layer formulations, and alternative delivery formats such as oral thin films and gummies.

PharmaTher's Personaliz3D Peptides program is designed to tie together physician oversight, telemedicine, qualified compounding pharmacies, AI-assisted design, and 3D printing into a single treatment workflow. The CraftMake platform would sit at the manufacturing end of that chain, producing doses inside a pharmacy rather than at a central facility.

CraftHealth's software stack includes CraftControl for workflow and printer management, and CraftBlends, a library of printable formulations optimized for immediate, delayed, enteric, sustained-release, and orally disintegrating products. The printer itself can manufacture tablets in various shapes and multi-material pill-in-pill designs that enable sequential drug release or taste masking.

The collaboration is notable because it links a North American pharmaceutical developer with an Asian hardware platform. PharmaTher is exploring deployment through Section 503A compounding pharmacies in the United States, which means the technology would reach patients through local pharmacies rather than through a centralized manufacturing and distribution network.

Personalized peptide medicine is still a small market, but it is growing. Most peptides today are sold in fixed dosages and limited delivery formats. A 3D printing platform that can adjust dose, release profile, and shape on a per-patient basis would expand what pharmacies can offer without requiring new drug approval for every variation.

PharmaTher's stock opened 7 percent lower on the day of the announcement, after gaining 8 percent the previous session. The shares are up 20 percent for the month but have fallen more than 40 percent since the start of the year.
