Taiwanese 3D printer maker Phrozen has launched the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX, a large-format MSLA resin printer with a 14-inch 16K LCD, dual heating, and a 2-liter vat aimed at creators and print service providers tackling bigger jobs.

Taiwanese resin 3D printer manufacturer Phrozen has officially launched the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX, a large-format MSLA printer designed for creators, studios, and print service providers who need to produce larger, longer prints without constant intervention.

The machine features a 14-inch 16K mono LCD, delivering high-resolution output on a 302 x 161 mm build area with 300 mm of Z-height. It slots between Phrozen's existing Mighty Revo 16K and Mega 8K S models.

Dual Heating and Reduced Downtime

The key innovation in the Revo MAX is a standard chamber heater rated at 30 degrees Celsius, paired with an optional heated resin vat sold separately. Together, these address two of the most common causes of failed long-duration resin prints: temperature fluctuations and resin viscosity changes as the vat cools.

The printer also includes a 2-liter resin vat, which holds enough material for multi-day prints without requiring a refill. A quick-release release film and built-in 1080p camera monitoring further reduce the need for hands-on management.

Pricing and Availability

The Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX ships with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,600. A Super Early Bird discount launched on September 22, cutting the price to $1,300, or $1,250 for email subscribers.

First units are expected to ship to customers by the end of December 2026. Pre-orders opened in select markets in July 2026.

Technical specifications include a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity, dual Z-axis rails with lead screws, and power-loss resume capability.
