Prusa Research's Back to School 2026 promotion runs through September 30, with MK4S price cuts, free filament, and up to 50% off Academy courses.

What Is On Offer

Prusa Research has launched its Back to School 2026 promotion, running from September 3 through September 30, 2026. The sale covers the full Prusa range: printers, filament, resin, Academy courses, and merchandise. The headline is the Original Prusa MK4S, now at its lowest price ever. Selected printers include free Prusament filament and free Prusa Academy courses.

Filament and resin carry a 15% sitewide discount. Academy courses drop up to 50%. The Prusa Starter Paint Set plus a beginner miniature painting course is bundled at a special Back to School price. Prusa merch is 10% off. Promotional offers do not apply to INDX variants of any printer model.

The MK4S at Its Lowest Price Ever

The Original Prusa MK4S is Prusa's open-frame workhorse. It is self-calibrating, serviceable, and designed around the kind of project-based workflow that keeps students engaged past the first week. The open frame makes the entire printing process visible, which is a genuine advantage for learning. At 4.5 kilos, it is also light enough to move between classrooms or workshops without difficulty.

Prusa has dropped the MK4S to its lowest-ever price. Both assembled and kit configurations are included, so buyers who want the build process itself to be their first project can do so at the same discounted rate.

CORE One+ Gen 2: Enclosed Performance

The CORE One+ Gen 2 is Prusa's fully enclosed CoreXY machine with active chamber temperature control. The Gen 2 update improves print starts, first-layer quality, and routine maintenance access compared to the first version. The controlled chamber makes it a better platform for engineering materials that need stable ambient temperatures.

Buyers receive free Prusament and free Prusa Academy courses with the CORE One+ Gen 2 during the promotion. A kit version is available for buyers who want to learn how the machine goes together before it starts printing. Prusa pitches the assembly experience as a STEAM project in itself.

CORE One L+: More Build Volume, Same Platform

The CORE One L+ scales the CORE One architecture to a 300 by 300 by 330 millimeter build volume. That is enough room for large functional prototypes, architectural models, robot parts, or a full batch of smaller parts in one session. The chamber remains actively temperature controlled, so material options open up once projects outgrow PLA and PETG.

The L+ also includes the free Prusament and Academy course bundle during the promotion. It is aimed at students and small teams that have outgrown a compact printer but want to stay within the Prusa ecosystem.

Learning Discounts

For buyers who already own a printer, the Academy discount matters more than hardware price cuts. Prusa Academy courses cover introductory 3D printing, Fusion 360 design, PrusaSlicer mastery, post-processing, painting, and airbrushing. Each course includes practical exercises and a completion certificate.

The Back to School 2026 promotion runs through September 30, 2026. INDX variants are excluded from all offers.
