SWISSto12 signed an MoU with Mitsubishi Electric to manufacture RF payloads and expand across Asia.
SWISSto12 and Mitsubishi Electric Join Forces
SWISSto12 has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation to scale manufacturing of RF payloads and expand its footprint in Asia. The Swiss space technology company will work with Mitsubishi Electric's industrial and electronics manufacturing base to produce payloads for satellite and communications applications.
The partnership covers joint manufacturing, technology transfer, and go-to-market collaboration across Asia-Pacific. For SWISSto12, it means faster delivery of its satellite payloads without building a separate factory network. Mitsubishi Electric gains access to SWISSto12's antenna and RF module portfolio.
Both companies framed the deal as a response to growing demand for satellite connectivity in commercial and defense markets. SWISSto12's existing customers include satellite operators, integrators, and government programs that need lightweight, high-performance RF hardware.
No financial terms were disclosed. The companies plan to announce specific production milestones and product roadmaps in the coming months.
