Bambu Lab has officially entered the Indian market with the A2L, its largest open-bed desktop 3D printer, priced at Rs 48,999.
Bambu Lab's Biggest Open-Bed Printer Arrives in India
Bambu Lab is no longer testing the Indian market through third-party sellers. The company has formally launched its brand in India with the A2L, an open-bed desktop 3D printer that offers 105 percent more build volume than standard 256 mm-class machines.
The A2L measures 330 x 320 x 325 mm, which is large enough to print cosplay props, product prototypes, and multi-part assemblies in a single job. That extra space comes with the same reliability stack Bambu Lab customers already know: adaptive vibration compensation, a closed-loop servo extruder, and filament tangle detection.
Pricing starts at Rs 48,999 for the base model. The A2L Combo, which adds the Automatic Material System for multi-color printing, costs Rs 65,999. Both models are available through authorized channel partners across India.
What the A2L Adds Beyond Size
The printer supports optional Blade Cutting and Pen Drawing modules, so it can double as a vinyl cutter or plotter. It also works with third-party slicers including SuperSlicer, PrusaSlicer, and Cura, and it connects to Bambu Studio, MakerWorld, and the Bambu Handy mobile app.
Noise drops below 49 dB in Silent Mode, which matters if you plan to run it in a shared workspace or home office. The heated bed and 300 C nozzle handle PLA, PETG, TPU, and carbon-fiber reinforced variants, though the latter pairings require a hardened steel nozzle.
Bambu Lab products have been available in India through resellers for roughly two years. This launch marks the company's first official country-specific push with local pricing and support. India's maker community is large and growing, and the A2L's price puts it within reach of small workshops and design students who previously could not justify the cost of a 300 x 300 mm machine.
The A2L sits between the entry-level A1 and the enclosed P2S in Bambu Lab's lineup. It is not the cheapest large-format printer on the market, but it bundles enough automation and monitoring to justify the premium for users who want to minimize failed prints.
