Why Multicolor Printing Has Been Broken
For years, multicolor 3D printing has been a trade-off: either waste tons of filament purging between colors, or invest in expensive tool-changing systems. The fundamental problem is architectural - one nozzle, multiple filaments, and a lot of wasted plastic.

Sovol has historically struggled with firmware support. The M1D is a first-generation product with significant mechanical complexity. Early reviews suggest the hardware works, but software polish is still catching up.
